Salary Comparison

I know there's a lot of variables, but since people were talking about how much further the $ goes in DFW as opposed to Hawaii, I thought this would at least be interesting to post. The disparity was a whole heck of a lot bigger than I suspected.

If we offered him $1.7 million, the Hawaii equivalency would have to be $3.3 million.

Wow!

I think we can all agree that if he comes here he will have a bigger salary, that goes without saying. But 3.3 mil....whoa....

Thanks for posting this. Now maybe JT will understand why I made the cost of living comment in the another thread. It is a factor.

no ive understood it before when there were numerous threads about it...it was talked about alot with PJ too...

but coaches dont always look at cost of living that much being that when they go to a new school, normally a house is given to them...if not a house, a town home or a car...and they always get country club privileges

June seems to care a lot about his assistants as well. How much longer do they want to get by with higher cost of living in Hawaii on smaller salaries? My point is that Hawaii has been winning for a while now and if they truly wanted to step up they would have done it by now.

We can debate but I guess we will all know within the next week.
