West Virginia Interim Head Coach Bill Stewart

Maybe we should consider Stewart for the head coach position if they pick Terry Bowden. Based on the OU game so far, he does NOT appear to be a bad option!

VMI fired him. Excellent coach and great guy though.

A lot of good coaches out there with "potential" It is SO's job to find the right one to lead us to the promise land. Not an easy task and more second guessers than supporters.

i have a feeling that the mayor will endorse the official hire of BS as the new HC of wvu

He just got endorsed by Junior Offensive MVP Pat White...

so my money is on Stewart staying on has HC.

Their OC went with Rodriguez, right? Or was it their DC?
Whoever it was, he actually petitioned and was granted a waiver to coach in this bowl game. He did, and he was fantastic. RR took him to Michigan, so I think he was clearly one of the really great coaches. Not knocking the others (SMU would do well to have any two of them, Stewart or no), but this guy was special, and it showed.

it was their DC because ron english was forced to take the UL job.
