I like the idea of Jones for a lot of reasons, but would have rather had a few others. Gary Barnett as a proven program builder or Turner Gill as a young energetic recruiter. Is it too late to throw a million at Gill, let him hire some top dollar assistants with the extra cash raised and go kick some [deleted] on the recruiting trail? Thats the strategy that should have been implemented 5 weeks ago.
