...said JJ is still the prime target, but that Martz' name had surfaced, from one of Rich's tickers.

Also referenced MM65's thread, telling listeners what day the search has gone into.

So? Steve-O said in his press conference (a few hundred years ago) that he'd consider the best coach at any level. Sounded to me like he even would consider a HS coach, although I find that hard to believe. Given a Texas-friendly staff, I'm not sure Martz would be a bad choice at all, although I don't know a whole lot about him. What I do know is that he built a killer offense in St. Louis and is an arrogant guy who doesn't mind running up the score. I'd like to see SMU on the winning side of that once in a while.
