Colt Brennan said that's what Jones told them. If you're Brennan, why do you care? You're getting ready for the NFL draft. I found that odd.
Already, we are seeing so many conflicting statements on the timeframe here. Which one is accurate?

Its cool, I had a dream last night that when I woke up, I got on Ponyfans and everyone was freaking out because there was a press conference at 3:00pm and June Jones was going to be our next head coach. So we got nothing to worry about, because dreams always come true...

The 14th????? So, if June Jones asks Orsini for "a few more days" after the 72-hour deadline expires, does Orsini give it to him??
(My guess, with the way this Mickey Mouse search has gone.....YES.)

This reminds me of that Curb Your Enthusiasm episode after Cheryl left Larry and he tries to show her he's changed and he tells her she has until Monday to make up her mind and she goes insane...

The linked article states that JJ's salary is $800,016. Where did the $16 come from and what the hell is that for?

It is double the $400,008 they started with. The real question is where did the $8.00 come from.

Interesting quote from Colt:
"I know the way he's thinking and feeling and agonizing over this decision right now, that this is where his heart is. But at the same time, from a business standpoint, when you're talking money and a challenge, sometimes a competitor loves a challenge. I know it's going to be a tough deal, and a tough decision."
SMU has the money and a challenge...He's probably talking about Hawaii, but we can always read into what anyone says...

That wasn't Colt. It was Dennis McKnight that said that.
