Wow, talk about a terrible replacement for Taylor. While they may have been approximately the same build, their passing defense was light years different. That is, Sean could defend against the pass, and Roy cannot.
This is additional proof that the stat of how many pro bowls a player went to should never be considered when they are being selected to the hall of fame.

Taylor was three or four inches taller, faster and a better tackler, in addition to being a terrific "ballhawk" type safety. Williams can't cover his own mistakes, let alone another human being. There might never be a player who has gained more from his college reputation and his big hits that overshadow the shortcomings in his game more than that guy. How he got that monster contract from the team is evidence of agent wizardry at its best.

Awful. If I were on the AFC team I'd refuse to play for fear of being horse-collared and having my career ended by that spare.

Has he done anything since he hit Chris Simms in the end zone at the Cotton Bowl? What a waste of talent.

Broke TO's leg, and got a rule named after himself. That has to count for something.

It's amazing. He hasn't deserved 1 Pro Bow. Can't even tackle fundamentally or cover in zone.

Makes you wonder who was his secondary coach at OU.

Yup, that sure did happen. I'm also pretty sure that's the last time RW did anything to help his team win a game.

I'm more of a proponent of Coach K.

I dont know what you guys are talking about, Roy really worked hard this year and has perfected the horse-collar. Give him some credit...

Yeah! The league thought so highly of his efforts they forced him to take a weekend off.
