Had to say it. The last hire from Springfield Ill. was a huge "WOW" hire. Congrats to Iowa, Obama and Springfield Ill..

who is from Springfield, Ill? I thought obama was from Chicago. He just served in the legislature in Springfield.

Let's not compare a double-A ballplayer to a hall of famer just yet. Obama has a very steep hill to climb before he reaches the status of one President Lincoln.

Agree, but America just took a step that has not been seen since JFK or maybe even A. Lincoln. I actually supported Clinton. But this just feels great. The first presidential primary to have been won by a black American. Amazing. We are living part of history. Blog--please don't stop this thread.

Jesse Sr. First African American to win primary....
Lincoln was a republican....
Good for politics with the turnout....we will see in... I think all candidates have major weaknesses....hopefully someone will rise up...
