I doubt they were going to play Sehorn on special teams, and since he's moving from CB to safety, I'm not sure his injury helps KG.

Got this from the Rams website, http://www.stlouisrams.com/:

MARTZ ON THE MIKE: AUGUST 2
Saturday, August 2, 2003

ON THE SITUATION AT LEFT TACKLE: “John St.Clair will start for us at left tackle and we’ll go from there. We’ll put Andy King over there, and over behind Kyle, we’ll put (Robert) Haws. We brought a couple of new guys in today. We’ll just see how they pan out. We’ve just got to move some guys around. We should get James Broyles back on Monday. Where he can practice at guard so we don’t have such a dilemma inside there. We should be alright.”

ON JOHN ST. CLAIR: “John hasn’t changed a whole lot, up until the other night, and then he did everything right. I don’t know what got into him. The problems that he had with his technique, he was doing perfectly. I’ve never seen him run like that. He executed flawlessly. I was shocked. I was asking the staff because I was dumbfounded. The light went on for the guy. I feel good about him right now. I’m excited about where he is. Sometimes it takes two or three years for a guy, but you have to remember, he was a tight end in college that went to center. Probably center is his position. To have a guy who can go in a play left tackle and center in this league is a rare commodity.”

ON CAMP STAND OUTS: “Jerametrius Butler, I’m extremely happy with. DeJuan Groce has had a terrific camp. We’ve had some guys, on defense, that have shown up too. A couple of other youngsters have done a good job too.”

ON T GRANT WILLIAMS: “Grant is fine. What Grant gives us, is pass protection. He gets on guys with that reach and they can’t get off of him. He does really well. When you have a wingspan like that, he does such a terrific job. He times his punch so well. Just like your kid brother—you put your hand on his head and he’s swinging at you, and you never touch him. That’s about what it amounts to.”

ON SECONDARY COACH PERRY FEWELL: “There’s no question that he’s responsible that he is responsible for the development of good players—not just Jerametrius. Also DeJuan and Kevin Garrett, those two young corners are way beyond what we expected at this point. We had hope that one of them would come up, but those two have certainly come forward. And who know what (Shane)Walton is, because he’s been injured. They’ve really made tremendous strives and I’ve got great confidence in those guys.”

Now that DT Jimmy Kennedy is in training camp, who do you think the starters will be at DT on opening day?

You watch - KG's going to make an impression this summer. He'll be on the team when the season opens.
