Dinner meeting about AD buyout??????

Kind of weird. Thread on both boards claim they heard the local news say on a teaser before the commercial that the boosters had raised $100,000 to buyout the AD's contract, but then nothing was ever reported about it when they came back.


Could this have been what the dinner meeting was really about? Or was Jones there, told him he was leaving for SMU and why, and they decided to throw the money they got together for him toward buying out the AD?

Certainly a lot of strange ongoings today, to say the least. Feels a lot more like this one could be breaking our way than the PJ fiasco, but I'm still not convinced until SO holds a press conference.
