Question about press conference

Some have said if/when there's a PC that they'll be there. Given the way things have gone on this board, I don't know that Steve O would necessarily want a free for all when we hire Jones.

What are the rules of procedure for PCs on the Hilltop, or in general? Doesn't one have to have media credentials to get in? Especially given that it's SMU we're talking about, I'd be surprised if it wasn't somehow limiting as to who could show up. I'd guess local TV, national outlets that want to stick a mic there, The Ticket if they want to show up, Kate, and a guy from the DC, plus the donors of the $$$. Of course, Gangi Farrell & PonyPride as well.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see CJ there, much like we did at the CUSA announcement.

If something like that happens, I would think they would allow Mustang Club members to attend. But I think it will be open to all.

I know that there is a press conference planning committee. I'm not sure what they do, other than notify the media and possibly the big donors.

It has always been open to the public. Plus, I am sure SMU would want a nice turnout.

If the press conference is Monday.....would we
know the details of place/time late Sunday so we
can free our schedules up to be there?

How much notice can we expect?
