To do a press conference on Sunday or Monday, saying he is taking the SMU job, that means he would be pulling a Fran, and telling his team he is going to another school by teleconference. Not a good move, but I suppose he gets a pass, seeing how it's like an 812-hour flight and it's almost mid-January? I dunno

Valid point. But he may have already told his players something since there are guys declaring for the draft who said they would stay if Jones did.
