at SMU...I just hope all of you can get behind this hire and realize what a Winner this Coach is. Sure we may struggle this recruiting season, but so what. The guy will be able to recruit here in the future and will prove he was worth the wait. It is time to stop all the negative junk by people who support this program.... I personally appreciate the school's boosters and administration that have stepped up like they have to get this done.

Let's just get him signed, and then I'm behind him all the way.

if this happens, it signifies a helluva commitment to winning, no one can deny that. Whether he is the best man for the job or not, well, we can let that debate die.

Let's actually get him hired first before we get behind him. :-)
I'm sure that's the next thing to happen, but so far all we know is that friends tell a newspaper in Hawaii that he's resigned there. That does not (yet) mean he's agreed to coach at SMU.

Seriously - if this really happens - it's the biggest moment in SMU football since the Aloha Bowl against ND.

Please don't mess this one up.

We are seriously on the map now.
