This revelation virtually elimantes any possibility that June may pass us over for an NFL job unless he wants to take one sight unseen.

I now expect that this deal will be done and announced before the BCS Championship game tomorrow, as we have all hoped.

Lock it up, Steve. For the love of the Hilltop, close this deal.

The way our UH administration has handled this whole June Jones situation, I hope you guys land him!!!

I do feel bad for Hawaii since it sounds like Jones would have stayed had some of his concerns been addressed, and had they approached him a lot earlier with a new contract. But I do have to say that there loss is our gain, and I will be elated once this deal is officially done. Until then, I'll be holding my breath.

Wouldn't he fly to California for the big coaching convention. He needs to be there to drum up some assistants and interest.

Just a thought--we probably shouldn't be posting people's travel itineraries online. We all know you guys work there. Go ahead and delete it, and we'll all believe what you post. No reason to take a chance on losing your job over a football message board.

So when does the signing announcemetn occur?

Good PR requires careful timing of the signing announcement in and around the BCS bowl game Monday night. When does SMU hold a press conference for JJ?

Exactly. How many SMU graduates with access to the information work for AA in NYC?

Some people can be quite resourceful.

Having access to Sabre reservation system is one thing, but I wouldn't be posting itineraries.

Your name might change to firefirephil.

Just looking out for you.
