Cage Match to the Death: A little distraction while we wait....

TOP 25 Quote:

Bus, you know not of which you speak.

Your information is very stale.

Admissions are not a problem, and haven't been for years.

Just compare the Hawaii Roster and the SMU Roster.

Well, further to the point, Bennett got every single recruit admitted over six years that he asked for.

And that's a fact.

That's why he was relegated to talking about transfers and curriculum when he was walking out the door.

Ask yourself these two questions...how many transfers did he aggressively go after and how many players did he have that didn't make the academic grade during his tenure?

Admissions concerns were very, very real in the Gregg, Rossley, and Cavan eras, but not during the last one.

that's what I mean transers and curriculum-which is shown by 35 transfers on the Hawaii roster.

That is not true. We wanted the QB that is now at Troy and could not get him in. Go away.

There was a kid from Northwestern that wanted to come but could not transfer his hours. Go away again.

I didn't play sports at SMU but transferred in from UT Austin after my Sophomore year. My hours didn't transfer and I basically became a freshman again. It can be done but you will lose all of your work from another university

Guess SMU does not like UT - all of my hours from ACC were accepted

Guess not. Also, let me clarify that not all hours were denied but enough to set me back 2 years.

No offense 25, but you are full of cr*p.

You want us to believe that PB, who came from a program with almost 60 players on his last team that were JC/CC/Prep/Transfer type players for which he and K-State were wildly successful suddenly decides upon his arrival at SMU that they no longer matter?

You have zero credibility when you make those type of statements.

SO alluded to the same thing in the PB farewell presser, but then again SO also said we didn't offer PJ.

Now hold on, Top 25 has already assured us that JJ has signed the contract. You mean that might not have been a credible statement? I'm SHOCKED :!:

Phil Bennett repeatedly made the point that you build a program with high school players, not JC transfers. That's where 95% percent of his efforts were directed.

Believe what you want, but admissions are not the problem, and haven't been for some time.

Then why did our last Coach work at a school with 48 transfers and June Jones has 35? Why are we hiring Coaches that don't know how to correctly build a program?

Are you over 6. If so go check Bennetts recruiting record before he came to SMU. And then go away.

Stallion...I counted 56, not 48.

Please get your facts straight
