Irrelevant, untimely Terry Bowden note
Posted: Sun Jan 06, 2008 10:24 pmI tend to ignore all posts pleading for Bowden as his hiring would never have fit Orsini's criteria in my eyes, and would have been a major mistake. However, since some have griped that SMU never contacted him...here, a snippet from the latest Daily Campus article. Apologies for the rehash if this has been posted.
"Update Terry Bowden's publicist said the ex-Auburn coach did not contact SMU before head coach Phil Bennett was fired. Kim Shiff said the coach did have interest in the job but said the school contacted Bowden first."
