Either way, JJ is going to look bad in someone's eyes. He either pisses off the Hawaiians or the Mustangs. I honestly just find it hard to believe that things could have changed that much overnight at U of H.

I am a firm believer that you should give someone your best offer and let them make a decision. U of H is on offer 3, in my eyes you lose credibility..

Kinda like saying, " we only thought you were worth 1.3 million yesterday. BUT, we found this extra 100k and a new stadium, assistant raises, and any kind of carpet you can imagine for your office now that you scared us like that. "

Or the fact that you let your coach, no wait your state's complete obsession to coach through the last year of his contract. Oh and then wait a week after a school made a proposal to email him? That, in my eyes, is an incredibly bad way of doing business and is insulting.

Well, June, we have a serious crush on you, but we wanted to wait until you were 4000 miles away to do it.

I am a firm believer in getting as much money as possible for my client. Steinberg is great-a credit to his profession.

"[/quote]................I agree and just looking at the way Hawaii athletic officials have handled their offers shows the kind of problems JJ has had to deal with there....I know he loves Hawaii and all and will probably retire there, but I really think it would be foolish of him to go back to work there now.....But then again, it is his choice....
