Local 10 p.m. Sportscasts

Has a single local sportscast said anything about the SMU coaching search yet? They're ALL talking about the Cowboys! :evil:

Edit: Ch. 8's George Riba just said that Jones and Steinberg are in Dallas, had dinner at GJF's house and met with the search committee. Also that Hawaii's governor called to try and keep JJ there.

Channel 4 did. I don't know about the other because I wasn't watching them.

SMU is in talks with June Jones who is in town today to discuss the opening with SMU officials and boosters. Put Jones's career on the screen and talked about our offer and Hawaii's offer. Nothing we haven't known for awhile.

Channel 5's sport show was entirely a recap of the Cowboys season. No mention even of the other NFL games played this weekend. It's as if there is nothing else sports related going on in the entire world when the Cowboys have a week off!

They even did a 3 minute segment on the new Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders Barbie dolls. Un-friggin-believable!

On a brighter note, Newy looks a little slimmer. Or maybe he just LOOKS slimmer because I am comparing him to that Hawaiian reporter?
