At some point this morning, Jones has to wake up and make a decision (assuming he slept at all). We're probably only a few hours from finding out, right?

I think the decision has been made.

Am I the only one that keeps pressing "refresh" on the college Blog on DMN.com?

I can't help but wonder is this isn't all agent-induced BS. June Jones has been around. He knows what he plans to do.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jones had a change of heart. I don't doubt that he fully intended to come to SMU. But the guilt trip/outpouring of love for him has to be tough.

From everything I've read about the guy over the years - he is kind of a free spirit - and the corporate/conservative/button down culture of Dallas may just not appeal to the barefoot, floral shirt wearing Jones. He was/is "the man" in Hawaii - won't be the case in Dallas.

Is he the kind of guy who NEEDS a challenge?

Right, what was Jones doing last night:

A. Reviewing the two offers

B. Sleeping on it, or

C. Negotiating with University of Hawaii "deep into the night."

Looks like his agent was buying some time for Jones to continue talks with Hawaii.

Up to yesterday, that was true. Kate has Leigh Steinberg's phone on speed dial and he seems to feed her info as well. Unless someone here has his number, then I bet she has the info first today.
