The longer he waits, the more likely emotion will take over (see: Donovan, Billy re: University of Florida - not a perfect example, but it gets the point across).

Hopefully JJ realizes Hawaii won't match the facilities upgrades he's wanted for years and will sign at SMU and not go back to Hawaii for a few weeks.
