I can now confirm that June Jones will be introduced as Southern Methodist University's new head football coach at 3pm today. You can believe or not, but the deal is now done.

I have been in meetings all morning and unable to read the news until now. Unbelievable. I really thought this thing was lost and we would have the rug pulled out from under us for the 4000th time in a row. Maybe the curse is over.
The news brought tears to my eyes. I usually only cry during episodes of 24 and Cowboys' pregame introductions.
