Dysfunctional Relationship

Am I the only one that thinks the Hawaii and JJ looks like a dysfunctional relationship.

Back when they were courting, they promised him the moon. Then they spent 9 years without delivering on any of their promises (new facilities, etc.)

So, JJ starts working out, gets into shape, gets back out there on the market and starts dating again. Now that he has found a new rich boyfriend that is willing to make a commitment to him, his old lover is coming back with new promises.

I've changed baby. Take me back. We can make it work this time. I'll do better. I really will get you those facilities I promised you before. You want soap for lockerroom...whatevery you want baby. I love you ;)

Make the clean break JJ. It's time to get on with your life with somebody that's gonna treat you good.

Amen to the clean break. UH has had years to upgrade and never did.

"They talked about how unique his place is in the culture of the islands, what he means to the youth of the island, the economy, the morale and spirit, what a devastating impact it would have if he were to leave, how close he is to their heart and how much they love him. It's so unique. I haven't seen something quite like this."

I love you baby...please take me back. This love we have is special and you can just give it up :)

yuck!

As I told the blogster, the only people who looked more like typical SMU during this ordeal than SMU was Hawai'i. Their completely reactionary approach to trying to keep Jones was inept at best, and insulting at worst. Jones should have been sewn up long ago. We are the beneficiary of their ineptitude.
