Tried to put the word out about Ponyfans.com but they have a censor that when you type ponyfans it comes out as ****. I guess they don't want the competition. But what is wrong with visiting more than one board??

I think that is kind of ridiculous to censor out our name. That is their board, they can run it how they choose. We are not trying to steal fans away or anything like that; we are just giving fans another option. Thank you for trying to put the word out!

Yeah, that seems a little ridiculous to censor another Mustang Fan Site. Guess they don't like competition. It's gotten to the point where I can't even go over there without wading through a lot of senseless bs. Good luck with this site, hopefully there will be a lot of good info on here asap.

It's obvious they are just scared that this site is better than theirs.

Thats pretty low to block out PonyFans name. I think mustang fans won't have any problem finding this site. Keep up the good work

Well, I don't think that the reason is so obvious. If you want to know the reasons (rather than assuming them) ask the mustangmaniacs webmaster. He'll be happy to explain.
That said, while I welcome multiple Mustang fan options and have suggested that mustangmaniacs also welcome healthy competition, in the future I suggest that to gain my respect and support, the webmasters on this site study grammar so that I don't cringe when I realize that the person running this site is either careless (not good when running a website) or does not know the proper grammatical use of "are" vs. "our" or "their" vs. "there" or "they're" (also not good when running a site that, although not official, does reflect on the abilities of Mustang fans). Proper basic grammar would tell me that the people running this site know what they're (notice proper use) doing.

I also don't like the fact that they will not allow ponyfans.com to be displayed. On the bright side, it may be keeping the frogs from finding this and eventually most true mustang fans will probably find it.

Who are you, DiamondM? You are right. That is an assumption and my opinion. I don't have to ask anyone's permission to assume or state an opinion on any site.

You are absolutely right, DiamondM! I am sorry for the bad grammar; things have been hectic thus far. That is no excuse, and I will be more careful in the future. Thank you for your support!

The Mustangmaniacs.com board reminds me of the mindless nonsense that is broadcast by the hardline on The Ticket.
Thank goodness for an alternative that appears to restore sanity.

I agree with everyone, but there is too much negativity. Let's just ignore that stuff and focus on the upcoming season. Practice looked awesome yesterday, and I'm excited about the scrimage Saturday. Vic looked like a real head-hunter, and Briggs and J. Free were running like the wind. It is going to be a fun year especially with the new stadium. By the way, the Red/Blue swcrimage is going to be at the IM field if you already didn't know.

In all fairness, the rules for this board state that they will censor comments and block offending posters.
Having said that, I welcome the decorum over here although this thread is getting whiney (sp?)
Requiring registration will probably keep the worst flamers out.
