Time to set aside differences of opinion about who the coach should/should not be and work together to bring a winning football program back to the Hilltop.

Well, obviously Stallion cant gripe as much about his model...so that is good thing!!! I would be willing to give him a hug in reconciliation.

In all fairness to Stallion, the model was more of the problem than any coach we had in the past...

well now we have another established track record to compare SMU's recruiting focus on. I'm going to give him pretty much a free ride during this recruiting season because I think I understand just how far he is behind more than most.
I'm not expecting some of the more controversial recruits on Hawaii's roster to get into SMU and that's fine with me. Guys with serious criminal records probably don't belong at SMU. But if we don't see at least a good number of Division 1A Transfers in the future like we saw on his Hawaii roster and we don't see a substantial number of JUCOs like we saw on his Hawaii roster, then I'm going to point that out and I'm going to point out that our opponents do have those players on the roster.
I'm actually kinda of curious about a point he made-that he's not going to rush out and sign bodies just to fill up a recruiting class before signing date. GOOD MOVE-nothing worse than deadwood sitting on the bench for 4-5 years. Hopefully, he means he may be able to get a few players that come to SMU in non-traditional ways-guys who may FULLY qualify late or some Division 1A Transfers that are looking around. We'll see.
I think June Jones is a very good coach but I hope he does follow through with his hope of getting some more assistants with Texas ties otherwise I think it could be a long adjustment period in recruiting. Hopefully, he can go out and immediately get some top QBs and WRs. Might want to keep an eye on a JUCO All-American who is about to commit to Tulsa named Jacob Bowers I think who was also looking at Hawaii.

I think for the sake of ksponymom, other ponymoms and some of the younger Pony Fans (children) that visit this site, you might want to back off on some of the words you use. I know all about freedom of speach, blah blah blah, but seriously...think about it.
