I love it:

"At Tech, he was named one of the nation's top coaches by American Football Magazine. McMackin also was named the Big 12 Conference's top recruiter by Rivals.com."....

I talked to Morrison' son in-law at the press conference today, former Dallas Cowboy and SMU Mustang Donald Mitchell. He was very excited about the news!

I think McMackin is huge. Was present for both of the years they won the WAC. (left and came back)

Morrison obviously is a huge sell for any potential QB's after Brennan making it to NY.

Don't know much about Suan. I'm hoping for the O-Line coach (but mostly because I found him entertaining in that crazy video they made.)

excerpts from the DC Bio:

McMackin, a graduate of Southern Oregon College, is a published author. He wrote "Coaching the Defensive Backfield" in 1992, which is in its seventh printing, and has had several articles published in national coaching publications.

Coaching the Defensive Backfield. Obviously, not a must read from PB's library.

After reading Dan Morrison's bio, that seems to be a HUGE "get" as well. I'm not sure if it's more him or JJ, but his track record seems very impressive. Needless to say J-Will's college career just got more interesting.
