Advertiser pushing for Greg McMackin to be named head coach

Postby cs09viking » Tue Jan 08, 2008 4:20 pm

Our nice friend, Stephen Tsai, is getting the masses in Hawaii fired up to retain Greg McMackin as the head coach. JJ needs to get down there fast and start kicking some bASS and lock his people down.

Someone hand Stephen Tsai another Mai Tai and sabotage his computer while he isn't looking! McMackin is ours! Hire Norm Chow!

Should we start sending emails and making phone calls?

Can we get the govenor to call?

Should we double his salary?

Should we promise upgrades to the facilities?

Please don't stay at UH.
Just send 'da money.

I think (translate as hope ) that McMackin is pretty tied to Jones.

Don't forget, McMackin has family in Texas and wanted a way back to the mainland...Most importantly he knows how bad that job is there...His age also dictates he is slowing down not gearing up for a head coaching job...

"I'm going to be here as long as June's here," McMackin said. "This is the last guy I'm going to coach with. He's like family. We were together a long time in the USFL. He's from Oregon. I really think he's the best coach in the game. I really do, and I've been with a lot of great coaches."

Someone should show him the carpet in the head coach's office.

QUESTION:

Do the coaches shower have soap?

Such info could be critical in final negotiations.
