Poll: Tech's excuse for losing

Okay...so, after SMU stuns Texas Tech (SMU 24, Texas Tech 21, pick your own score) on Aug. 30th in Lubbock, what excuses will they offer for this disasterous, embarrassing, possibly-season-ruining loss?

I think they will say:

"Mike Leach was really, really distracted tonight, and was outcoached. You see, he'd been mistaken for Vince Gill seven times that morning, and he couldn't get that ballad 'I Still Believe In You' out of his head. He just loves that song!"

i think that their only legit excuse would be that both the offensive and defensive first and second string players were all kicked off the team for going to a strip club with knight the night before the game

The entire team came down with the flu, and we had to pull 22 students out of the bleachers to fill in. Even then, the game goes into OT.
