Then they talked about Colt and his pro prospects. Thought there would be more to it. Packtrick said it was a reclamation project and Jones likes a project - paraphrasing of course.

Posted: Wed Jan 09, 2008 1:09 amWith JJ there is no way that SMU keeps on losing. No one is getting carried away about predicting CUSA titles next year, but the tide has turned. Watch what happens in what ought to be a washout in this year's recruiting. We might even see a few signs that JJ's arrival can salvage some of the late start in signing good players.

And Bennett did not get nearly the amount of exposure that Jones is getting. Stop kidding yourself. And did we get several people in the biz claiming how great a hire Bennett was like they are with Jones? Nope.
