Details of the new model?

I'm sorry if this is the sort of question that only a potato-munching, green-trouser wearing Paddy would ask but here it is:
Other than the statement made at the PC that SMU is now nationally competitive in its admissions policies regarding football players, how do we know what has actually changed?
Is there a document I can see?
Can I compare it to what went before?
How did JJ have the time, between deciding to come here in the wee small hours, and the PC, to draw up his "model" for the university to see?
Why can't Stallion and the other nay-sayers ever admit being full of it?

Not to Stallion though, how else would he be able to give it such unprecendented support? He must have seen it.

The fact you have to ask this question is the reason Stallion is so negitive. He's going with history and assuming the model hasn't really changed. I've deceided to go ahead and get my hopes up once again so SMU can come and crush my dreams once more.

Don't know this to be the answer to your question, but SO had many discussions with JJ's agent and it is very possible alot of those issues were discussed and resolved prior to JJ actually talking to SO. Total speculation on my part, but a possibility.

The model is very complicated. I've been trying to follow it all afternoon.

The fact that Jones agreed to take this job, and kind of money being thrown around by some very powerful people, leads me to believe something has to have been changed, given Jones' statements of a few years back. But the last thing they would do is trumpet something like this to the press. "Everybody celebrate, we've finally lowered our academic standards" is not something I would expect to hear at an SMU press conference. We'll get a better idea from the type of kids we start signing.

YES I have seen the JUNE JONES MODEL. I'm proud to share "the details" you requested below. 35 Transfers, players with criminal records can seek a second chance-generally if they have NFL potential("my best players from recent years I found in jail") and a 903 APR the lowest among all Bowl teams.
