We really need to hand it to Steve O. After watching an approach that was so wrong for so long, yet much talked about in the beginning, we finally got a plan that worked. And how many of us knew about it? Obviously it wasn't something SO thought of one morning in October...I'm sure he planned it for awhile.

And most of us had no idea. Sometimes it not how much you know about what's going on, but rather the details of the things you don't know that are going on.

Look, I have a job and do a lot of travelling for a living. I am not glued to this board 24-7 like some people.

It was never my intention to be a negative doom and gloomer for no reason. I will also admit that Orsini proved me wrong on one point and one point only - he got more than a table scrap. I never expected him to be able to get Jones, especially after he said he wasn't interested. I guess I am no longer Supreme Leader.

However I was the first to break the news that Jones had been hired when everyone was screaming that he was about to screw SMU. I have not been wrong - except on my prediction that SMU would get table scraps. I am more than happy to be wrong on that. But it wasnt a battle between anyone except between Orsini and Jones. If Jones had gone back to Hawaii, SMU would have gotten table scraps and Orsini would be a big goat. You would all be calling for his head.

Let's all hope recruiting standards have been changed once and for all so that we can compete on a level playing field.

Take yourself out to the middle of the desert, douse yourself in gasoline and strike a match. I guess you probably need to wait until you're old enough to drive first, though. Nice mouth, too, little boy.

This may be his first post without "f'ing" or [deleted]. Good job!

I like your enthusiasm, but profanity loses its luster when contiually used and abused. Pick your points, and it becomes more effective.

Biggin is wrong again. Orsini would not have gotten scraps if JJ decided to stay at Hawaii. Orsini said he was not going to hire a coach that was not a previous Div. 1-A winner. You blasted everyone on this board for the JJ rumor and you acted like you had all the answers. You were wrong....I almost forgot.....how does that [deleted] taste in your mouth?

Jeez, calm down, son. We're all happy with the coach we got. Half the people on this board didnt' think JJ was a done deal until we saw the PC. Does that mean they all have a bid D in their mouth. You're acting like you called this months ago.

Can't we move on to where we go from here as opposed to bagging on those of us who thought it was a pipe dream? Ok, we were wrong. Get over it.
