My circle of champions story

My father in law had a meeting with Richard Ware after his Nick and Sams dinner. He said Ware was a lot more charismatic than what he'd thought and told some great stories. Also said Hawaii was making money for their program by letting majors buy them out of their contracts. They didn't want to play Hawaii after they'd improved. He said their opener this year was supposed to have been Michigan who bought them out for $300,000. In HI's place, Michigan scheduled Appalachian State.

BTW - Amarillo National Bank is the largest family owned bank in the country. Not a bad gig if you can get it to be 2nd or 3rd generation owner of a really successful company.

I think Hawaii would have beaten Michigan by at least 2 TD's this year. Also, cool story. Thanks for posting it!
