On December 20th I posted the above, becoming the first to call the hire. Sorry I screwed up on the date by three days. I lived in Hawaii long enough that I shoold have taken into account the time factor. It is still the best coaching hire at SMU since Hayden came on board 40 years ago and boy have we made some bad ones!
