Steve,
With the excitement of JJ and the probability that our season tickets and game attendance will dramatically increase, Ford Stadium in a couple of years will need to enclose the horseshoe.
With that and 45K seats, we should host CUSA Championship Game, perhaps every other year with UCF. Orlando and Dallas are great destinations. With Memphis hosting the CUSA BB tornament, Dallas and, perhaps, Orlando make sense.
Yes, let's fill up Ford first. Makes JJ salary more palpable doesn't it?

no way you can have a nuetral site championship in cusa. would never work. Own the west and we can have it every other year, unofficially.

Big XII plays on a neutral field, as done ACC, BE and SEC. Despite SMU and UCF, not being neutral per se, they are major markets, as is Memphis, who hosts our BB Tournament.

CUSA cannot afford the attendance of a neutral field game

Did you see all those empty seats at the ACC championship game...really detracts from the event.
I can't see it going to a neutral site at C-USA, although if it did, Dallas would be a natural location.

Isn't It Beautiful! Now JJ just has to fill the seats.

When JJ gets the Ponies to the Cusa Championship, the MClub will be selling tickets to the game in 12-packs-- and I'm a Buyer.

None of the CUSA teams travel that well except UTEP. Imagine a Marshall vs. Rice championship in Dallas. Or Memphis vs. Tulsa. Or USM vs. Tulane ( I can hear the bellyaching now).

But remarks have been made about how poor the attendance was at the ACC Championship game. The Big XII and SEC we aint. I think it also makes a big difference that their teams are not as spread out as the CUSA teams.
