Maybe the Cowboys should get a new QB

I know this sounds a lot like a McClown thread, but after what their QB has done and that motion that's ridiculous, it might be time for them to really evaluate if he is the QB who can get it done or if they need to look in another direction.

I'm not a cowboys fan and I agree that his playoff performances have been less than stellar. But to propose that the cowboys should "look another direction" after he threw 36tds in the regular season is ludicrous...

I thought that NFL games bored you?

It's odd to pick out Romo for the blame. His o-line simply fell apart during the second half and Gurode in particular was killing Romo with his slow snaps. Romo deserves some blame for missing TO at the goal line and maybe holding the ball too long on a couple of plays but otherwise he didn't have a bad game. If Crayton doesn't drop the ball, we probably win. If we had half as many penalties we probably win. If our special teams cover kicks/punts we probably win this game. Hell, if we don't get a [deleted] personal foul call on Davis we probably win this game.

Personally, I think the blame rests on the coaching staff. We clearly weren't ready for the game and considering half the staff was off looking for jobs during the bye week I think they deserve the blame.

Please dont overreact!!! This is T.Romo's second season as a starter, give him time. Yes we expected more but we all expect him to provid us more victories--not cut him as soon as things get rough.

#1 Dallas fan...

It does, but I flipped between that game and the Washington-USC women's game. And I missed the first half of the Cowboys game because I went to go watch Rhonda win her 300th.

C'mon General, you're better than that.

Just tryin' to get a rise out of Cowboy Nation. Hey, as a Vikings fan, I can only wish that my team even got into this position. Those clowns had it right in their hands before the Washington game and threw it away.

And the Vikings are the ones who really need to evaluate their QB situation. That's a mess.

This thread holds about as much weight as Bigdaddy or McClown!
Romo wasn't the problem. The problem lies with the receivers who dropped numerous balls in key situations, McQuistan who jumped several times to stall drives and missed tackles on defense/special teams. Romo played pretty well considering he was running for his life on every play.

The Oline was horrendous today compared to past performances. Numerous false starts (over and beyond the obligatory one on Adams), just generally abnormal play for a usually good Oline.

I thought TO alligator-armed a deep ball to him down the sideline in the middle of the 4th.

Yea... the WRs weren't good either. I was just pointing out the lack of OL today too

They showed a stat that said the #1 seed had not lost it's first game since the playoffs went to this format in 1990. What do you know, another first for the Cowboys!
