We were outplayed by NT and gave up 600 yards passing. Bennett should have been fired on the spot after that game.

Well, in his defense, he's forgotten more about football... :)

Last I checked the only thing that determines if you win or lose a game is what is on the scoreboard. I am all for giving up 600 yards a game if it results in wins every game like UNT.

To the point though...heres to our final time at the bottom 10

I do like that the BCS got the #5 spot that they reserve for major programs on a downward spiral--although, I'm sure it was a tough choice between the BCS and Notre Dame!

You guys shouldn't worry too much. You have a great new coach and a good capital campaign going. As far as the NT game, it was just good football, possibly the most exciting game of the year for both of us.

Focusing on spots in the Bottom 10 seems a little off, like which is the smarter kid in the Special Olympics. It should be bad enough that we're in there at all without splitting hairs.

I don't see either team sitting there much longer, like a couple of you said (well, at least said about SMU :D ).

There are supposedly talks of a series, per a Denton article...any news on your end?

deepellumfrog, do I know you?

Don't we get points for effort? How many overtime games did we lose after blowing a lead?
