Former Baylor Coach Guy Morris Turns Down KY High School Job

Guy Morriss may still love the Bluegrass, but he won't be coaching Kentucky high school football.

Morriss turned down a job offer Monday to coach at Boyle County high school in Danville, Ky., the school's athletic director said.

"We're terribly disappointed," Boyle County athletic director Jim Spears said. "A gentleman and coach with his experience and resume, the value it would have brought not just to our football team but our school and community, it would have been a tremendous opportunity.

"But we respect his wishes for this not being the right time."
