I don't know if this has been posted, but I just heard a promo on the Ticket that JJ will be at Ticketstock signing autographs and such.

Dammit. I'll be in San Diego for the better part of the next month. First time I'll miss Ticketstock in since I started college.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Not [deleted] about San Diego but missing Ticketstock. I'm in Omaha right now so San Diego ( a paradise in its own right) will be even that much sweeter. I just hate being away from the friendly confines of the little Ticket.

And you can even be present via the miracle of the internet. Send yourself like an email or something.

Yeah I listen on the net when I can. Missing Ticketstock is gonna suck though. Especially since JJ is going to be making an appearance.

Ticketstock is an event run by 1310 The Ticket. They have mainly sports celebrities come and sign autographs. In years past, they've had Troy Aikman, Julius Erving, Marion Barber, etc. This year their big name guest is Nolan Ryan. It's at the Plano Center in East Plano, on a Friday and Saturday

If I remember correctly, there were 2 guys from SMU back in the early 90s that ran it before Ticketstock went big time.

Ticketstock is a mockery of woodstock. All of the radio personalities do some sort of music performance on stage. Last year was highlighted by Bob and Donavan's rendition of "Get Tricky" and George's performance of a Killers song.

Hey, kind of like how the Ticket is a mockery of real sports radio. I get it now!
