UNT inferiority complex never ceases to amaze

Here's an interesting thread on the biggest high school football website in Texas.

It starts out as a discussion about the impact of June Jones' hire on Todd Dodge's ability to resurrect UNT. Of course, it ends up being a debate in which the UNT grads and a few Southlake Carroll Dodgeophiles desperately try to run down SMU and argue that the UNT degree is as valuable as the SMU degree.

Funny reading for all SMU fans.

The good news is that since JJ was hired, there has actually been a lot of positive talk about SMU on this board. Before JJ, SMU was nowhere. It has certainly created some buzz and the Texas high school kids will surely take notice.

We should have UNT in our rear view mirrors post-haste. Looking forward to the day when we aren't scheduling the SunBelt teams except for an easy win, and scheduling UNT is not even under consideration. Am hoping that is only about two years away.

With a new coach, maybe the Horns can actually beat the Aggies next year.

The cat's loud hiss usually took care of any uncomfortable silence issues.
