Today's DMN says that Kate will have a story on JJ's plan to rebuild the football program in Sunday's paper. Got to love all of the press that we are getting.

Even if all the stories essentially center on us sucking for 20 years straight.

sometimes it takes time to 'erase' people's memory of the bad times, or their distaste for something so that you can fix it.

No problem wiht the story centering on how we have sucked for 20 years...because we sure have and everyone knows it. Time to get out from under and focus on kicking [deleted] going forward

Should be an interesting read. I'm very interested to hear how JJ plans to get this program back on solid footing. And yes, all the publicity is really nice. I also wouldn't rule out a couple of significant recruits committed elsewhere that come our way.

Sadly I am getting amped for Signing day just to see if JJ has turned a couple of kids that no one has caught onto just yet...ie kids that are supposed to sign with Hawaii that somehow don't

he was joking at all the chicken littles we had here 2 weeks ago who were ready to declare the SMU program dead
