D-Coordinator: Seriously Needs To Be Hired

I really hope we're ready to announce our new DC by Wednesday at the latest. Its nut-cuttin' time for recruiting and we need to have a guy in here that can get the job done.

The last coaching hire showed that it's more important to get the right guy, rather than a guy right now. I trust Coach Jones has the wisdom to get the right guy, rather than rushing to hire someone just for the sake of hiring him.

We're already getting sniffs from some quality players, and that's with a coaching staff of what ... four? We'll be fine this recruiting season, and even better next season.

You're right PonyXpress. There is a lot of coaching going on with this board however none of us are sitting in the big office at Ford. I think everyone should settle down a bit. Good grief, on the recruiting board people are freaking out and in a rush to email the staff and even Orsini about a recruit. Let me tell you, these guys know more about what's going on than anyone on this board whether they have only been here for a week or longer. Let the man do his job and everyone else do theirs.

and even more important than hiring the D-Coordinator...let's hope the new coaching staff can find a couple of interior DL who can come in and play right away. Besides Elizee, what do we have...maybe 2-3 DTs? And what do they go...about 260-270 lbs each? And while they are at it, how about a MLB?

That defensive front 7 is going to be a big challenge for whoever comes in here next year.
