KERA Special-Humble Network
Posted: Tue Aug 12, 2003 8:20 pmDid any of you see the KERA special on Darryl Royal last nite-they had some vintage video of the SWC from the 60s and early 70s. Even showed Roosevelt Leaks against SMU as he casually ran around some old Ponies I recognized as as Horace Derry, Mickey Early et al on his way to about 348 yards against the Mustangs. Got me thinking whatever happened to those great Year in Review Highlights that were a mainstay of the Humble Network exhibit at the Texas State Fair each year. The Classic moments of the the SWC of the 50s, 60s and 70s are all captured on those films. I'd love to get my hands on them.
