Says he has a lot of kids coming in for the next 2 weekends. A lot are rethinking their decisions and he thinks that they will end up with a good class.

Says SMU has the best facilities that he has ever seen giving him a big advantage. He thinks that his predecessors have done the heavy lifting in allowing SMU to be competitive academically.

Finally, he said that he knew that there was a lot of talent in the area, but he didn't realize how much there really was until he got here. His focus will be in the local area because of all the talent available. He was very complimentary of the coaching done by the high schools.

Guess he has already seen a LOT of tape!

Wow. The radio host said that he'd be surprised if we didn't go to a bowl game next year.

i like that he's surprised by how much talent there is here. if he's not used to getting this kind of talent, imagine what he can do with it when he gets it.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

JJ is the man and gonna be great for us. Did he give anything specific about what he is looking to bring in this year? Skill players, size on the line?

I thought the most interesting thing JJ said was about how the defense from last year needed improvement and that they already had COMMITMENTS from some recruits that he thought would help improve the D !!!

Also commented that there currently are a lot of RS OL, sounds like he is not focusing on recruiting OL therefore.

He mentioned that a lot of QBs and WRs know him so I would assume he is expecting to load up there. 8)
