Jones close to finalizing staff

Postby George S. Patton » Mon Jan 28, 2008 10:09 pm

On the show, he said he had all but one (I think) wrapped up. One he hasn't announced but the coach is here.

As for the Defensive Coordinator, he said he has offered it to somebody. But because that person is dealing with a personal/family issue, he has to wait about 10 days before he can make that public. That sounds like the candidate is going to take it but the matter has to be resolved.

My source says that the person offered has worked with Jones previously.

Do you have any stats on how their defenses were? Gives us something else to debate.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Staff will include a former Cougar High WR from the Andre Ware days. Not Manny Hazzard, and I can't remember any others.

Chuck Norris has a standing gig with Huckabee, at least until the candidate adioses from the race.
BTW, Norris is also one of the nicest guys to meet...no arrogance, and very approachable for kids and families.

He also can eat 3 64-oz steaks in 1 hour, while spending the first 45 minutes [getting to know] the waitress.
