I'm trying to remember back to my early youth. I recall an SMU receiver from the late 70's (77-80?) who may have been an All-American, I vaguely recall it but could be untrue, and who had a very unique name. Perhaps the name sounds African in origin? My brother and I got his autograph after one practice and the other day we were both trying to recall his name but to no luck.

That's it. Ok, that didn't sound African. Thanks. It was giving me a headache.

He is also serving time in prison for child rape after he seduced a few young junior high school girls while a teacher in Arkansas. Great player, bad person.

Ah, the cherished memories of youth. Meeting a future rapist at the age of 8. I guess it's lucky I have a brother and not a sister.

Looks like he had a long career in the CFL.

It is better than being a tight end in prison.

It was hard for me to believe he did such a thing. My Sophomore year(1993), he was in my Intro to Accounting Class and we'd always talk and sometimes chill out at the student center. Had no idea who he was until later. Thought he was a pretty cool guy until I heard about what he'd done. Such a shame.
