Yes.

I'm guessing that JJ will have a DT coach and a DE coach. Last year JJ had Reinbold as DL coach but also had Lumpkin as DE coach/associate head coach. And the other guy has been reported to be Bert Hill:

Bert Hill, a former Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins assistant, will coach the defensive line

SI might have that wrong because it said that Reinbold was special teams and I think that he's DL/DT. I thought that McKnight was going to be SMU's special teams coach.

Also, JJ always was the head coach AND offensive coordinator at UH, so I'm guessing he'll have the same role at SMU. Dan Morrison was always his QB coach at UH...the only reason he might give Morrison the OC title would be to give him extra money and a promotion at SMU.

Here is a repost I made on another thread....interesting video to watch.....sounds like our program would be MUCH easier to turn around....and has is comfortable with JJ:

Here is a link to a video that says Jerry's salary is only $165,000. That the team had less than 500 people coming to games the year before Jerry got there, and just what a huge uphill battle he is facing with almost no budget to mention. Oh, and the little fact that Jerry only coaches defense as a head coach......so it might be a long shot, but it sounds like it could be a shot!

Could be interesting press coverage for SMU to have JJ and JG.....

If we don't get Glanville I believe that Dom Capers is available. Good pro coach with DC experience. Also great name recognition. :o

GO PONIES!!!
