As I can't believe nobody commented on this, I'm making it it's own thread!

Such an honorable video game console! Behold how the Japanese have once again improved upon an American invention.

I think there's something you can do with a troll somewhere in the game.

Seems a little more like rugby since they never line up on the line of scrimmage. And what great sound effects!

yeah, other than line of scrimmage, everything else in the game has such resemblance to traditional football.

(it's a friggin' video game)

As indicated in the other thread (updated to include F. Gregg) ... That game looks like it is about as much fun as these quite popular games:

Forrest Gregg's First and 20 (Nintendo 1989) (the NCAA mandated that SMU must gain 20 yards to achieve a first down that year).

Tom Rossley's Moral Victory Machine (Sega Genesis, 1992) Coming within a TD of beating top teams like UCLA, North Carolina, or Wisconsin garners "Moral Victory" points. A tie with a top 10 team will double those points.

Mike Caven's "Keep Hershel from talking to other programs" Bowl (Sega Saturn, 1996) The goal of this game is to not let Hershel Walker leave his house and to keep SEC coaches away from his house. Also included with this game ... a copy of Steve Malin's SAT prep software.

Phil Bennett's Mustache Ride (PS2, 2000) I heard that Oscar makes an appearance in this one.

With that said - Bring on Glanville - he would be a major coup!

Forrest Gregg's First and 20 (Nintendo 1989) (the NCAA mandated that SMU must gain 20 years to achieve a first down that year).

Dang...it must have been hard to get a first down if we had to gain 20 years

We did have to wait 20 years - but that's another story. Should be labeled as Stallions 20 year Fight.

In fact, some of those trolls do look a little like Militant Faculty, one of them seems to look a lot like our Spanish prof friend . . .

The Purple Hippo vs Militant Faculty - now that's a game I would buy . . .
