Posted: Tue Feb 05, 2008 3:22 amI suspect a big reason that he retired at midseason was to give his son an opportunity to coach the team and be the lead guy going into the next season...might not have a chance to hired otherwise...also, I agree with many that he wasn't interested in a goodby tour.
