Receiver Height in JJ's Offense...

Postby smupony » Fri Feb 08, 2008 4:24 pm

Just finished watching a few highlight video's of Hawaii's 2007 and 2006 seasons on Youtube. Made note of the 5-6 recievers on the film making plays.

Here's what I saw:

#1 = 5'11 180 (slot)
#2 = 5'11 168 (slot)
#3 = 5'9 174 (slot)
#7 = 5'10 190 (slot)
#82 = 6'1 200 (outside)
#84 6'2 189 (outside)

(All from the Hawaii Athletics sight. Not sure how accurate those measurements are. We all know athletics sights tend to stretch players.)

Didn't have time to write their names. Feel free to look on Hawaii's athletic sight.

Just wanted to point out that those guys fall in line with what JJ did with his first class. Of course we have a few shrimpers in that group, but I was just watched the touchdowns. Didn't see entire games.

Did see some incredible draw/flip plays to their 280 lbs fullback. Very impressive.

You are right. I think the Hawaii players I pulled fit a number of guys on our roster (maybe not Bess). I'm not so worried about some of these 5'7 type guys. If JJ wanted them, there must be a purpose for them.

That's what I was playing. I play it with everybody. Thing is, I always win. Graceful losing speech though. It was almost funny!
