June did this interview Friday with John McClain on 610 in Houston. Some of you may know that John is the NFL beat writer for the Chronicle, is very connected and an outstanding writer. I traded emails with him yesterday and he said since June recruits Houston hard he plans on doing more with the Chronicle and on radio in Houston. They have been friends for many years. Obviously lots of talent here in H town so it's great June won't be a stranger. I've been here since '81 and have never heard an interview with an SMU football coach on Houston sports talk radio.
