I know there have been posts about this already, but since it is the off-season I would like to highly recommend this book. The book gives lots of great insight about June Jones and also lays out a vision for SMU fans on what they can expect over the next few seasons. This book is a "must read" for any serious SMU fan. Don't be deceived by the cover, it's more about June Jones than Hawaii football.

I know a Hawaii fan that might want to sell their copy of that book, and it even has June Jone's autograph on it. I saw the book on half.com.

In that case, I have no idea how you missed "A Payroll to meet" It's a good read, though a bit torturous when you see how close we came to getting away with the whole mess.

Payroll to Meet is a great book to understand what our past is and sounds like the JJ book will be a good one to show where our future can be

I ordered the book through Barnes and Noble and had it arrive within days.
I have read the book twice and have picked out even more info with the second read. The first 20 chapters really establishes the foundation and belief structure within a June Jones program. The remaining chapters starts to isolate on inspiring individual stories. Even when reading the individual stories of Hawaii football players and coaches, the common thread always comes back to TEAM.
It is an inspirational book with plenty of insight into the man the Mustangs now call "Coach".
If you really want to know what the man stands for, you need to read about his journey. You will be amazed at all the lives he's touched and continues to influence.
I can't wait for him to really embrace this team and implact the lives of these football players. He is all about faith, family (ohana), and football. Loyalty and friendship is just as important to him. Based upon his life and battling through being an underdog, you can tell his life was preparing him for the moment he was supposed to arrive at the Hilltop.
Read the book!
