No special teams coach per se. Which one was it that was also special teams at Hawaii?

Tam Hollingshead -- So much for not getting a coach without Texas connection. Big name who had a great history and EVERYBODY IN TEXAS knows who he is because of his days at Odessa Permian.
I would venture to say that's a serious upgrade from Jerry Bennett, who could be accused of stealing money for the time he spent here.
I believe someone on this board owes the masses an apology for shooting off his mouth before everything became official. Nice.

The name last night was Frank Gansz (I assume Jr. since Sr. is 70 years old). He was recently let go as ST coach of the Baltimore Ravens. Do not know if there is still a chance to pick him up, but I sure was excited about the prospect of a special teams coach.
If I recall I believe it was our Hawaii expert Garrett that said JJ did special teams by committee at Hawaii, much the same as Bennett did here.
Does anyone recall the maximum # of coaches you are allowed to have?

What exactly does a director of on-campus recruiting do?

Is that everybody? Or is he still going to hire more like a linebackers coach and special teams coach?

If you actually would have clicked the link to his bio, you would have found this - Handles all aspects of on-campus recruiting including the arrangement of lodging, meals, travel and visit itineraries... Also handles correspondence and assigns and monitors a recruiting management program for the SMU staff.
Apparently our guy played for those dastardly Longhorns.

I still can't remember when my first was, nor any since then. There should be a record of them.

Puts the money in the envelope, initials the envelope, and places it where the recruit can find it.

Dude - why the attack on Jerry Bennett? Unnecessary.
